Return of the Invasion of Hungarian Partridges

A whole whack of Hungarian Partridges showed up in our backyard this morning.

The poor Hungarian Partridges who have been living in our backyard don't seem terribly impressed by our blizzard.

Edmonton is being hit with one of those April blizzards this morning, and the Hungarian Partridges who have been frequenting our backyard are not too happy about it. (I can't say I'm thrilled either.)

Return of the Hungarian Partridges

For the past couple of springs, our backyard has played host to a pair of Hungarian Partridges. Last year, the two of them nested in our firepit for a few weeks as the snow melted, before disappearing for the summer. This morning, there were three of them exploring our backyard.
